The “Manage Page Properties” screen will allow you to change the properties and security settings of any page contained within the site.
Locating Pages:
- If you know the name or additional information about the page you would like to edit, simply use the search feature at the top to locate the page. You can search by page name or Groups.
- Scroll through the existing pages by entering a page number into the “Page” field at the bottom of the screen and pressing the Enter / Return key on your keyboard. For Example, if the default is to display 15 pages of info per page and the site contains 60 pages, there will be 4 display pages.
- Use the forwards and back links to click through the listing of pages (the “<<” and “>>” links)
- You can resort the display by clicking on any column header.
View the Page [Public Side]:
To view the public side of the page, select the “Display Page: XX” link next to the page you would like to view.
This will open the page in a new window. To return, simply close the new browser window.
View or Edit the Page [Admin Side]:
To view the admin side of the page, select the “Edit Page: PAGE NAME” link next to the page you would like to view.
The Admin page view will replace the Manage Properties screen within the browser. Click the back button within your browser to return to the Manage Properties screen, or select “Homebase” from the top menu.
View the Existing Page Properties:
Select the magnifying glass icon next to the Page Name. This will allow you to view the existing Page Properties for the page, but not edit them.
Edit Existing Page Properties:
Select the pencil icon next to the page that you would like to edit. The following Page Properties remain editable after the page has been created:
- Page Name
- Page Type

- Background Image
- Open HTML
- Close HTML
By editing the page properties for a page, it affects that page ONLY. It will not alter the template that the page was created from, nor will it change additional pages created from the same template.
Delete a Page:
To delete a page, click the large “X” icon next to the page information. You will be prompted to confirm that you would like to delete the page before this change will go into effect.
Edit Security Settings:
To edit the security settings and page permissions associated with a page, select the checkbox next to the row containing the page information, and then click the “Change Security” button at the top or bottom of the table.
You have the ability to change the security group for editing, and/or edit the permissions of users that can access the page from the public side of the site.
Please Note: You can change the settings for multiple pages at one time. Simply check the box next to each page and then click the “Change Security” button to edit the security settings for all of the pages.
Change Manage Property View Settings:
In the upper right corner, you can select the number of pages you would like to view at one time by selecting a page number from the drop down list.
