The Speartek system has the ability to auto – publish edits and changes so that edit change does not require republishing an entire page. By default the auto – publish settings are set to “yes” even if the “yes” radio button does not appear to be selected.
However, you can also turn this feature off so that content can be changed within the Admin side, without being visible from the public side of the site. This allows for content to be added prior to when it is actually needed on the site, or for content to be approved prior to publishing.
To view the Media Settings, select the “Media” link from the top of the table. You can alter the GUID and Codebase of any of the following file formats:
- Flash
- QuickTime
- Real Player
- Windows Media
If you are unsure what these settings are, or what they do, it is best to leave them at their default values.
